　　The Humboldt Current is part of a much larger system, the South Pacific Gyre, with the equator as its uppermost limit. S1, Ep1 - Genesis As it flows north from Patagonia to the equator, the Humboldt Current is a liquid force which enables life in the sea and on land. A female blue whale is the avatar we first meet in the chilly seas at the southern tip of Chile. S1, Ep2 - Renewal As we follow our female blue whale north, we arrive in central Chile. Here, the influence of the Humboldt current effects life even in one of the driest ecosystems on earth. S1, Ep3 - Arrival In the final 1/3 of her journey, a female blue whale enters tropical waters as she leaves the west coast of South America. Her final stop is the Galapagos islands.
